Serensea (“we”, “us”, “our”) provides aesthetic and skincare treatments across Billericay, Brentwood and the wider Essex area. We are the data controller for personal data collected through this website and in the course of providing our services.

- Consultation and treatment data — medical history, skin concerns, treatments received, aftercare notes.
- Booking data — service selected, date, time, status and related notes.
- Marketing preferences — where you have opted in to receive updates or newsletters.
- Technical data — IP address, browser type and cookie identifiers, collected automatically when you visit this site.
How we use your personal data
We use personal data on the following lawful bases under UK GDPR:
- Contract — to arrange appointments, provide treatments and communicate about your bookings.
- Legal obligation — to maintain clinical records for the period required by professional regulators and insurers.
- Legitimate interest — to improve our services, prevent fraud and keep the website secure.
- Consent — for marketing messages and non-essential cookies, which you can withdraw at any time.
Sharing your personal data
We share personal data only with processors that help us run the business, under appropriate contractual safeguards. These include our website hosting provider, email sender (Resend), database provider (Supabase), and booking or payment providers. We do not sell personal data.
How long we keep personal data
Clinical records are retained for the minimum period required by our regulators and insurers. Booking and marketing data are kept for no longer than is necessary for the purposes set out above, typically up to seven years. After that we securely delete or anonymise the data.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request erasure of your data, subject to our clinical record retention obligations
- Restrict or object to processing
- Withdraw consent at any time
- Lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO)
